Following consultation EPs may carry out assessment, which can include:

• observation in the learning environment
• individual learning assessment using a range of standardised cognitive and other learning tools
• standardised questionnaire completion or interview with learner and/or other relevant professionals

A comprehensive report is provided, with recommendations for ways forward based on consultation and assessment outcomes.
