Stacy’s work with our students with learning difficulties and disabilities has definitely made a difference. She has been key in moving forward a restorative justice approach in dealing with challenging behaviour with these young learners which has helped them to reflect and learn from their wrongdoing. She facilitated a Restorative Conference involving ten people and her professional management of the meeting made sure that all the thoughts and feelings of those affected were heard. When asked about this meeting afterwards, one young perpetrator commented, ‘It was heartbreaking,’ and ‘I never thought about other people and how they felt.’
